Dave brings 20+ years of experience from the cultural sector and an extensive network
Lund, Sweden, February 3 2022 – Axiell, the world’s leading software and services provider for the cultural sector, today announced the expansion of its focus on innovation and technology with Dave Thomas joining the Group as CTO. Dave brings extensive experience from the last 20 years in senior information and technology positions in large and information-rich Museums, Archives, Libraries, Research and Private-Sector organisations, including the UK’s Natural History Museum and UK Research Councils. In the last 3 years, Dave has been advising organisations large and small in the sector and leading cross-institutional digital, knowledge and technology initiatives. This has included research, funding and influencing government policy. From 1st April, Dave will be responsible for research & development, infrastructure and spearheading Axiell’s continued investment into cloud solutions and a modern technology platform for the cultural sector.
