I’ve come from museums and archives, so having a chance to work with people across the industry, and showing them how to make the most of their collections data, is my favourite part.
I like the fact that every day is different. Despite working here for over 10 years I still learn something new every week. As a relatively small company we have to be flexible and work collaboratively which I enjoy. I also appreciate the opportunity of speaking to customers regularly to help solve problems, implement new solutions and ensure we are doing a good job.
We have a great team dedicated to Spark, our public library software, and I really enjoy working as part of that team to deliver regular updates and improvements to our customers. As a software developer, I like to work with a range of different technologies and to regularly have the opportunity to take on new challenges, and working at Axiell allows me to do that.
