Watch: Tailoring the EMu Experience, Recent Technical Solutions to Meet Strategic Goals
The National Museum of the American Indian at the Smithsonian Institution has recently been revisiting long-standing processes to determine collections information workflows that can be optimized in order to meet institutional strategic goals.
Relatively small, but effective, changes have been made to help the museum publish collections online more quickly, to expedite the tagging and documenting of culturally sensitive collections, and to empower users to manage their own digital assets. Join this presentation to learn about “extras” that NMAI developed to accomplish these tasks.
Presenter:
Kara Lewis, Collections Information System Administrator/Analyst, National Museum of the American Indian, Smithsonian Institution
