Watch: Using the Consultation Module to Handle Requests for Objects and Media
The Field Museum recently had an opportunity to update an internal workflow that allowed users to request objects and multimedia via a webform. We decided to update this process by integrating requests directly with EMu, using the consultation module. By setting up a new web application (using IMu), to provide this functionality, this new workflow allowed us to associate requests directly to objects and multimedia upon submission by the end-user. The presentation will discuss our old web form, new web application, how we store the data in EMu, and some of our thoughts we had coming up with this solution.
