Keeping It Moving: Importing Data, Records, and Images

Darryll Magboo Software Training Consultant

Whether a new collection arrives that is listed in table format, you are engaged in large-scale digitisation, or a project requires that data be created in Excel prior to being ingested into your system, learning how to conduct imports will save you time, money, and resources. Using this strategy, users can ingest huge amounts of data and circumvent the need for manual data entry. Getting your collection data into your system is the first step in turning it into information your team can leverage in new and exciting ways.

Trainer Darryll Magboo Darryll Magboo
Darryll has worked for Axiell since 2014 and in his role as a trainer has trained over 20 different client sites. He has experience running a range of sessions across our different software products.

He started with Axiell initially as a junior developer and has also worked on the Help Desk supporting customers. This gives Darryll a good understanding of the software from both a technical and user perspective; skills which he uses to help users get the most out of training.

I very much enjoyed the pace of the course and the level of interactivity he achieved, in spite of the fact that we were doing remote training.

[The trainer] did a great job of making sure everyone's questions and concerns were addressed, and made sure that everyone had a comprehensive understanding of the concepts we covered.

Julie McVey National Geographic, Washington D.C

Found the course interesting and engaging! The instruction was very comprehensive. Really liked the use of the training environment.
