Lambeth’s libraries are at the heart of their diverse community, being a place on the highstreet where members of the community come to access key resources and where outreach to local schools is a vital part of their service. Having a cloud-based library management system means Colette and the team at Lambeth libraries can work with Spark in whichever environment library staff are in, whether at a desk terminal or speaking to customers on the go.
Colette also discussed how London Borough of Lambeth Libraries were impacted by the pandemic and how this has shaped their work going forward, firstly pivoting to online events and now supporting the needs of members of the community who still can’t make it into the library.
