Lund, Sweden, 22 August 2025 – Axiell, the world’s leading software and services provider for the cultural sector, receives ISO 27001 certification for its UK and Netherlands business entities, underlining its commitment to information security. ISO 27001 is a leading international security standard that outlines the requirements for building and maintaining a robust information security management system (ISMS). This announcement follows the certification of Axiell’s North American business in 2023, with work now ongoing to certify further regions.

With the ISO27001 certification, Axiell commits to maintaining a robust information security management system (ISMS). The ISMS provides a framework to assess and monitor risk, whilst ensuring that staff across the business are aware of their responsibilities, and that plans are in place to respond to any incidents.
The ISO 27001 compliance framework is published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the world’s largest developer of voluntary international standards, and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Axiell’s ISO 27001 certification is currently in place for its North American companies.
