Each workshop is capped at 15 participants (and no more than 2 per institution). Users will require their own laptop for hands on participation. Workshop registration must be done in addition to your event registration. A registration form for the workshops is provided after registering above for the event.
Technical level: Expert
This workshop will give a basic introduction to using the RestAPI. The session will cover connecting to the API, simple query, insert, update and delete operations and the retrieval of media.

This workshop provides an introduction to using the EMu Standards module to generate formatted exports for data sharing. The session will cover creating term definition records for a standard, generating an export of the standard and how to add extension to an export.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has graciously offered to give a limited number of attendees a tour of their private vault that houses precious rock artifacts not on display. Get up close and personal with items once owned by music superstars like Prince, Eric Clapton and Beyoncé.

Will there be a preferred hotel rate?

Arrival
Oct 25: Please enter the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and grab a name badge at the registration desk on Level 0. Breakfast will also be served for Natural History Special Interest Group attendees starting at 8:00 am. Lunch is served for all attendees at 12:10 pm.
Oct 26: Please join us for breakfast at the Doubletree by Hilton – Lakeside hotel starting at 8:00 am before breakout sessions commence.

Can I attend sessions for software other than the software I use?
Yes, you are welcome to attend any session across the event.
Photography
Please note, there will be a photographer taking pictures on all days of the event, with photos published after the event to the Axiell Facebook page. If your photo has been published and you would like it removed, please contact rielle.ullberg@axiell.com.
Is there a dress code?
There is no dress code for the Event or the Evening Reception. But if you have a particular museum/library themed outfit, we encourage you to wear it!
What if I have a food allergy or special dietary requirements?
The dietary requirements you gave us when registering have been passed to the catering teams at each location. If you are unsure what ingredients something contains, please speak to a member of the catering team.
What is the event’s Covid policy?
We will not be mandating any restrictions on entry or masks. We encourage attendees to do an at home test before travelling and to stay at home if testing positive or displaying symptoms.
Venue seating should accommodate physical distancing in most cases and masks are welcome but optional. We know we can trust users to act responsibly.
