Quria is the next-generation Library Services Platform designed to engage with your community and unlock the potential of your library.
With Quria, you receive a library system that includes all the features you’d expect from a modern library system. Like collection management, circulation, acquisitions, to name a few. Quria is so much more than these features and will fundamentally change what a library can be, how it works, and how it collaborates with the community.
Easy to navigate the collection
Quria uses the basic entity relationships from the IFLA Bibliographic Concept Models*: ‘work’, ‘expression’, ‘manifestation’ and ‘item’ in both the storage and presentation of collections, instead of traditional formats. These frameworks make it easier to navigate the collection and a simple search provides the user with an overall experience beyond the ordinary.

Flexible and intuitive
Everything you see in Quria is there for a reason, and every feature is based on what we know about user needs. Quria is easy to use and runs in any standard web browser. The features are intuitive and logical, resulting in a positive user experience.
Promote your library activities
The system makes it easy and fun to promote the library’s activities. The events module allows library staff to post, manage, and monitor all events automatically published on the library’s website. Bookings and cancellations are automatically updated. This allows you to plan and promote library activities in a unique way by linking users, the collection and events.
Focus on what matters
Gone are the days when the library had to be closed for system maintenance. Quria is automatically updated every time it starts, allowing staff to focus on visitors instead of IT issues. A web-based system also means that Quria works on any device with internet access. Take the library to the town square or the retirement home and meet visitors in a different environment.
Quria is made to encourage reading and to make the library a hub for knowledge and culture in the community.

In the near future, linked data will be available combining Quria with our content publishing software Arena. With linked data, it’s easy to connect and use library data outside your own catalogue. For example, when bibliographic data is in a linked format, it can be used by search engines such as Google.
A simple search on the web for an author’s name can provide catalogue information and your library’s events connected to that author as well as the library’s location and opening times.
Quria has a strong user community allowing you to link up with other libraries around the world and share experiences with colleagues. The Idea Portal lets users submit and upvote platform suggestions, allowing Quria to continually improve in response to customer use.
It is adapted to all types of library collaborations and partnerships, allowing libraries to jointly manage all resources from one place. Connect it with other cultural institutions, a museum or a school and transform your library into a hub for knowledge and culture.
It is easy to understand and anticipate changes in the library by using Quria’s advanced analytics. It gathers insightful management information from all library activity and a range of other channels, including the library’s own website, social media and email.
Cloud-based, user-friendly and future-oriented - After six months of preparation, Bibo Teltow is one of the first libraries in Germany to choose the ultra-modern and user-friendly library platform Quria. Compared to other products, Quria offers innovative features, a more modern design and more flexibility to the library staff. This provides a much better customer experience.
After a not always easy start, the project finally went very satisfactorily and for the library team it is clear that the step from BIBDIA to Quria and Arena was the right decision. Even during the turbulent Corona period, with its closure, short-term commissioning of a delivery service and numerous adjustments to the configuration, the LMS proved its worth and was able to meet the unplanned challenges, not least thanks to great support from Axiell. The library management had shown courage by deciding in favour of a young system that is only used by a few libraries, but the risk is now definitely paying off - with Quria and Arena, the Zug Library is ready for the future.
