We’re trying something new! Our Birds of a Feather sessions give you an opportunity to meet and chat with your peers! These informal sessions, held via Zoom meetings, will enable users to gather and discuss topics of interest in smaller, interactive groups.

Exhibitions of Data in Mimsy XG, led by the Autry Museum of the American West June 14 June 14

In January 2020, the metadata team at the Autry Museum of the American West began populating the Events module in Mimsy with a rich data set of our exhibition history. This Module now includes nearly 400 exhibitions from both the Autry and the Southwest Museum of the American Indian, from 1983 to the present. Our presentation will demonstrate how our new Events module became more than a tool for searching the collections on display. We will address the digitization and storage strategies as well as explore the access to exhibitions data for diverse users.

Discussion Panel: System Admins of the Future, led by the British Film Institute June 18 June 18
