Growth for Quria and the Quria Library Director’s Forum

The Quria Family is growing fast and now consists of over 130 libraries across Europe.

Our Quria Library Director’s Forum is growing as well. The fourth forum took place on April 28, bringing together Directors from libraries in Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Finland and Germany.

The participants met virtually to share updates and listen to invited speakers. The session concluded with a keynote presentation from Roland Dicke, Head of IT and Marketing at Paderborn City Library and Kaja Ahnfelt, Librarian at Deichman Grünerløkka.

Forum participants enjoyed an agenda consisting of:

  • The latest news about Quria
  • Insights from fellow libraries migrating to Quria
  • How to become an epicenter for a sustainable city

Quria Library Directors’ Forum is a place where Library Directors in the Quria User Community can share experiences using the software, collaborate on strategic product development, receive product updates from Axiell and exchange on international trends and formats.

Once again we have been lucky to benefit from a line up of inspiring speakers who shared their experiences and triumphs with the community. We’re delighted to see the growth in participants over time, even with the virtual format, and I’m pleased to inform that the next session in October will be onsite. Such a community platform is only possible with active participation from our community. I’d like to thank the attendants and look forward to seeing everyone at the next forum! Moreover, we are constantly looking at improving our sessions.

Don’t hesitate to reach out to me by email if you have suggestions or requests.
