About the Event
Who should attend?
The 2023 Axiell UK Meetup is a free event for Axiell users and members of the GLAM sector.
As always, you are welcome to attend any of our events, no matter where you are in the world. Those travelling from other regions are most welcome!
Getting to the Event
Royal Armouries is about a 20 minute walk from Leeds train station, or 5 mins in a taxi. There is also a water taxi which runs between the venue and the station and costs £2. For anyone driving, there is a car park operated by CitiPark on Armouries Drive, next to the Museum.
When you arrive, please enter through the main entrance on Armouries Drive and make your way to the First Floor to register.

Timings
Registration opens at 09:00, with sessions beginning at 09:30 and ending at 17:00. The Networking Drinks Reception will follow the conclusion of sessions and will come to a close around 19:30.
Will the event be streamed?
This event won’t be streamed or recorded. It will be an in-person only event and there will be a greater focus on discussions, workshops and networking – the things you told us you get most value from at an in-person event.
What to bring with you to the Event
Bring something to take notes with. With all the inspiring user stories and knowledge-packed skills sessions, you’ll no doubt have lots of ideas to write down and take back to your institution. However, in order to make the event more sustainable, we won’t be providing giveaway bags, notepads and pens this year.
Download the agenda to your device or print at home. We won’t be providing a printed agenda so, if you prefer a printed one, please print at home and bring it with you.
Bringing luggage? If you’re staying the night and have luggage, you will be able to store it in the cloakroom signposted on the first floor.
Networking Drinks Reception
Join us after the conclusion of sessions for a free networking drinks reception. The reception is a great opportunity to network and catch up with colleagues from across the user community. And drinks are on us!
17:30 – 19:30, Royal Armouries Tournament Gallery on the second floor.
