Vital Records

Axiell’s team of Vital Records and Statistics experts understand technology and government requirements for the collection and management of life events and statistical data. Several members of the team have more than 25 years’ experience in the Vital Records sector. When you choose to work with Axiell, from buying a system to ongoing support, you work directly with our experts and not with someone sitting in a call centre. We have a track record of building long term relationships with our customers and have worked with many for greater than 20 years.

Chris Fincham

Head of Registries + Vital Records

As the Head of Registries + Vital Records Chris is responsible for the overall direction and vision of Axiell’s Registries + Vital Records product offerings, developments and partnerships. Chris has been involved in the Vital Records industry with Axiell for 15 years, is a member of Axiell’s senior management team and is based out of Axiell’s Toronto office.

Nicholas Hogg

Senior Architect

As the Senior Architect for Vitalware Web, Nick is responsible for the design and architecture of web application and web service development for Vitalware. Nick has worked within the Vital Records area of Axiell for 15 years, based out of Melbourne, Washington DC, Crete, and he is currently based in Axiell’s Wellington office. Nick is closely involved in web project implementations for Axiell’s clients across the globe. He has a great deal of experience in web application security, and both front and back end development.

Vibha Singh

Global Delivery Manager

Meet Vibha, our Global Delivery Manager with over a decade of experience in the software industry. She has dedicated her career to development and consultancy work, particularly in the domain of Vital Records Software. Based in Melbourne, Vibha possesses extensive expertise in the design, implementation, deployment, and feature enhancements of Vital Records systems across various Australian and Canadian Registries. Her passion lies in taking up projects and meticulously delivering them to meet precise customer specifications, ensuring excellence in every endeavor.

Narayani Arvind

VP Operations/ Product Manager

Meet Yani, a multifaceted professional, with a decade of experience in public health and a background in computer engineering, Yani brings a unique skill set to their work. Yani applies an agile hybrid approach to implementations, offering flexibility to customers while ensuring timely delivery. By blending methodologies, Yani optimizes project execution, allowing for efficient adaptation to evolving requirements. Her expertise in both public health and technology enables her to design solutions that align with industry standards and meet customer needs effectively.

Jonathan Fontaine

Customer Support Manager

Jonathan is an expert in Vital Records Offices’ back office business procedures as well as Axiell’s web facing technologies serving the public, hospitals, medical examiners, coroners and funeral directors. Jonathan is Axiell’s representative to the National Routing System project and has extensive experience and expertise in this area. Jonathan is also fluently bilingual in English and French and is currently based in Montreal, Canada.

Andrew Jagdharry

Project Manager/Consultant & Systems Admin

Meet Andrew, a seasoned senior developer with a wealth of expertise across various Vital Statistics operations. His skills extend beyond software development, as he also contributes his proficiency in System, Network, UNIX, and Windows administration to every project. Andrew plays a crucial role in overseeing Disaster Recovery Project implementations. With a versatile skill set, he takes on multiple roles within our team, serving as a project manager, software developer, and systems administrator.

Christopher Entereso

Senior Developer

Christopher has been a member of the Vital Records team since 2011. Currently based on Vancouver, Canada, he is involved in the implementation of Axiell’s Registry and Vital Record software, web applications and the National Routing System in Canada. He continually provides support and consultation as well as develop custom solutions for Vital Records Offices.

Braden Galey

BA/QA Analyst and Business Development

An educated professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Technology and Administration from UMBC. During his professional and educational background, he has developed experience in helpdesk operations, technical troubleshooting, data management, and QA analysis. This is further compounded with a decade of experience in the customer service industry, specializing in building customer relationships.

James Moore

Software Engineer

James holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University. Through his educational and professional pursuits, he gained passionate interest in software development and web design.

Paul O'Doherty

Customer Support Manager

With over two decades of Civil Registry experience, Paul has held just about every possible position in RVR, from support right through to Account Management. His in-depth knowledge of the Vitalware backend has been instrumental in the delivery of time critical projects, such as same sex marriages, citizenship by birth and data migrations. He has worked collaboratively on projects across APAC, North America and the Caribbean. Paul is based in Melbourne and currently working on replatforming our APAC clients onto new cloud servers.

Alexander Orellana

Software Engineer

Based in our Brooklyn office, Alexander is a recent graduate from Hofstra University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. With a passion for problem solving, he provides support to Vitalware clients in North America. Alexander is bilingual, speaking fluent English and Spanish and is determined to always provide exemplary service, much to the success and satisfaction of his clients.

Software Engineer

Meet Ersi, a proud graduate of the Grove School of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Ersi's journey through academia and the professional world has cultivated a deep passion for crafting software-based business solutions. As a dedicated member of our team based in our Brooklyn office, Ersi focuses on software development to enhance the experiences of both our new and existing Vita clients.

Andrew Ansbach

Software Engineer

Meet Andy, a dynamic team member at RVR with a strong background in web application development and a degree in Computer Science. Andy thrives on tackling diverse challenges and brings a wealth of experience to our projects. Beyond his passion for coding, he leads a balanced life, indulging in hobbies such as staying active through exercise, creating music, and diving into the world of gaming.

Victor Zuo

Administrative Assistant

Meet Victor, a valuable asset to the RVR team, bringing a wealth of knowledge with an MEng background and eight years of administrative experience across diverse industries, including capital markets and high-tech investments. Victor plays a pivotal role in providing unwavering support to RVR teams, overseeing daily management tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of our CRM system.

Felipe Vieira

Software Engineer

Felipe Vieira is a Project Delivery Software Engineer with 8 years of experience in the industry. He has worked for various multinational companies in sectors such as e-commerce, healthcare, and telecommunications. Felipe's built expertise in the main new Vital Records application has allowed him to contribute significantly to the team by adding and improving numerous functionalities.

Liselle Ramcharan

Senior Project Manager

Liselle has a background in Electrical & Computer Engineering and Digital Systems. She has over ten (10) years of experience in information technology and project management, at the business, technical and consultative levels in various functional areas such as Insurance, Finance, Retail, Media and Telecommunications. She has a passion for data and project management with a strong interest in organizational change management.

Omer Noor

Software Engineer

Omer, a recent graduate in Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario, brings his strong passion for full-stack web development to the RVR team. He enthusiastically embraces the unique challenges of serving clients in the Vital Records field, applying his skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality solutions.

Patrick McGinnis

Software Engineer

Based in the Toronto office, Patrick is a graduate from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Computer Science. With a knack for problem solving and effective communication skills Patrick works to provide unique and valuable software solutions to suit client needs.

Ahmad Mohammad

Support Engineer

Ahmad holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming and Information Systems from Farmingdale State College. His true passion shines in his spare time, where Ahmad enjoys coding for personal projects. This hobby allows him to continually develop his skills and explore creative possibilities in the realm of technology.

Louis Amoah-Nuamah

Support Engineer

Louis is a recent graduate of Seneca College’s Computer Programming and Analysis program (OCAD). He is a customer-focused professional with in-depth experience in client-facing roles. Louis has a keen interest in analyzing technical issues and providing effective solutions to clients. With a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, he diligently works to understand the unique needs and challenges of each client, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of their software-related concerns.

Ted Jang

Support Engineer

Ted is a recent graduate of Langara College, having obtained an Associate of Computer Science Degree last summer. Prior to his academic pursuits, he gained valuable experience in the realm of customer support during his tenure at NCIX, a notable retail establishment. Throughout his professional journey, he has consistently fostered a deep-seated enthusiasm for problem-solving and collaborating with computers, as they have always proven to be both intellectually stimulating and enjoyable to work with.

Guy Seccull

Support Engineer

Guy is a recent graduate from RMIT University with a Bachelor’s degree in IT. Throughout his studies he picked up various skills and passions like in cybersecurity, web programming and software development. Based in Melbourne, he provides support to Vitalware clients.
